ADANI PUJADA, PHD

Dr. Adani Pujada (she/her) is a biologist and life science educator whose mission is to make STEM more accessible and diverse. She obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology. Pujada has experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses such as introductory biology laboratories, immunology, cell and molecular biology, science communication, signature experience courses (internship and independent research in biomedical science), etc. She has also mentored graduate teaching assistants teaching introductory biology labs. Besides teaching, Pujada is also interested in promoting professional development to improve overall STEM retention inside and outside her classrooms. She communicates evidence-based science educational content, laboratory and academic tips, and other STEM academic resources on her professional platforms, accessible in English and Spanish to the public. She also shares her educational journey as a woman in STEM and as a first-generation faculty member in academia.
